  Dear WCLL Parents,

Thank you for your patience during these unprecedented times. WCLL waited to let you know about this season with the hope that the outcome would be a positive one. It is with much disappointment that the Windsor Central Little League Board of Directors has made the tough decision to cancel most of our 2020 House League Season. We are moving forward with the Major and Senior Baseball Divisions only. We have decided to cancel all the other House league Divisions this season. Our decisions were made with the health and safety of our players, coaches, umpires, and families in mind. With the uncertainty of Provincial timelines (Windsor/Essex is still in Stage 2 as of this week) and the challenges of the Return to Play Guidelines, there are too many variables to proceed currently. We simply would not be able to provide the baseball experience that the WCLL family has come to expect. Below you will find a few options for registered players regarding the refunding of fees paid:

a)  All registered Families will have the option to roll their registration over to the 2021 season. You will be considered paid in full even if the registration fee is higher for the 2021 season.

b) You can choose to request a full refund of any registration fees paid for this year.

 c)  Donate a portion of the fees to the league to help cover expenses paid out until Covid 19 hit in mid-March and have the balance returned to you

*Please send an email with your choice of a, b, or c and Sharon, our league treasurer will be happy to help you. [email protected]
We know that this news is disappointing to all the players and families of WCLL. We hope to see everyone back next season.

Yours in Baseball,
Donna Standel,
WCLL President
